Sofia Vergara
Sofia Margarita Vergara Vergara is an Colombian actor who was raised and born in Barranquilla. Margarita Davila Vergara is her mother. His father, Julio Enrique Vergara Robayo is a cattle farmer in the industry of meat. Five siblings are hers. She studied at an English/Spanish bilingual private high school. After completing her pre-dentistry studies, Sofia began to work within the modeling and TV business. But, Sofia was discovered by a photographer, whilst at the beach. It led to various jobs as a model and a TV host. The runway model was already in her prime aged 23. Between 1995 and 1998, she co-hosted a travel show, Fuera de serie (1995) that gave her an opportunity to be seen to the United States. She played her first role in the 2002 crime comedy Big Trouble. Her most memorable role was Gloria Delgado in the American television series Modern Family (2009). As a result of this role, she received four Emmy nominations between 2010-2013 for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series. Sofia currently lives in Los Angeles with her son Manolo.
